Camping de Santenay lies in the heart of Burgundy’s wooded, shady vineyards; it takes its name from the many natural mineral water springs in the surrounding area.

Be intoxicated by the fragrance of the vines as you wander close to the slopes along the famous Burgundy Wine Route, the ‘Route des Grands Crus’. The winegrowing secrets of countless prestigious and original sites will be unveiled to you.

The campsite is located midway between Beaune and Chalon, making it ideal for great bike rides. The EuroVelo 6 cycling route crosses the Burgundy region, following the Loire River, Canal du Centre, then the Saône River. This cyclotourist route runs along many Voies Vertes (Green Ways) and passes through Santenay, less than 500m from the campsite.

Heritage enthusiasts will appreciate the wealth of local history: Santenay Chateau, Chamilly Chateau and Chateau de la Rochepot, as well as the well-known Hospices de Beaune.

This campsite is in the heart of the vineyard area; it has 158 spacious pitches marked out over an area of 3 hectares. Enjoy a stay on one of the traditional camping pitches or in a mobile home. Take advantage of the numerous cycle paths to discover the region and its winegrowing secrets.
