Le Mondial du Lion

Mondial du Lion is a must for any horse and riding enthusiast. This event is organised by the Lion Équestre organisation.

A THRILLING INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Mondial du Lion is marked by three major events:

Firstly, the dressage competition, which highlights the skills of thoroughbred horses and their riders.

Second is the cross-country race, during which the horses have to complete the specially-created course dotted with numerous obstacles as quickly as possible. Some of these obstacles, in the shape of animals or musical instruments, are emblematic and add to the unique atmosphere of the competition.

And finally, the last part of the Mondial du Lion programme is the obstacle course in its traditional form.

AN EVENT IN AN EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION

Today, the stud farm hosts about 60 local, regional, national and international competitions, but it is dedicated above all to producing the finest horse breeds, including not only English thoroughbreds, but also charming little ponies for children to begin riding.

AN ATMOSPHERE AND ACTIVITIES FOR ENTHUSISATS

Throughout the competition, an events village provides different activities so the public can share the passion for riding. Several of the stands present local products from the Angers area and other cultural items.
