Major events at the Nevers-Magny-Cours racing circuit

World Superbike

The Superbike World Championships generally take place at the Nevers-Magny-Cours racing circuit on the 1st weekend in September. We can recommend a stay at our Camping de Nevers, only 15 minutes from the racing circuit.

The World Championships are the main Superbike competition in the motorbike racing circuit category. The Superbike World Championship season consists of a series of circuit races. Riders from around the world compete in the races.

Typical weekend organisation

• Friday: 1st free practise session (60 minutes) and 1st qualifications (60 minutes)
• Saturday: 2nd qualifications (60 minutes) and 2nd free practise session (60 minutes). Selection of the 16 fastest drivers qualifying for the ‘Superpole’.
• Sunday: Warm-up (20 minutes) and Races 1 and 2

Classic Days

This is one of the most awaited events at the Nevers-Magny-Cours circuit. Almost 30,000 people every year come to look at more than 2,000 emblematic cars!

On the agenda are driving sessions on the track, a grand parade, exhibitions, stands and special guests!

A day trip, or a full weekend for the biggest enthusiasts, is an ideal occasion to share in the pleasure of this enjoyable event. There’s something for all ages and all tastes, from Ford T to Mustang, not to mention the unforgettable 205 GTI!
