Our Camping de Bourges campsite is only 800 metres from the town where the famous Printemps de Bourges music festival takes place. Printemps de Bourges is held during the spring holidays every year and has quickly become an unmissable festival for contemporary music in France and Europe, with over 200,000 visitors attending the event.
The Printemps de Bourges festivities take place over 6 days in a dozen or so halls and in the open air, with various types of music to suit all audiences. Festival-goers and passers-by can also come across outdoor stages as they wander around the stands, terraces, restaurants and free events with many groups performing throughout the day. The whole town of Bourges just bustles with movement! All the most beautiful sites and picturesque streets in the town are full of a very colourful and lively atmosphere.
Over 600 performers, ranging from young talent to famous stars from France and abroad, step onto the stage at this event every year. And there are as many international singers and musicians as there are young creators and performers. In recent years, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Zazie, Paul Kalkbrenner, Maître Gims and Jeanne Added have made the hearts of festival-goers dance to their beat!
